Zachary Levi Talks ‘Chuck’ Season Three
Zachary Levi Talks ‘Chuck’ Season Three By Christine Henderson / June 9,
Season three of Chuck just ended with a game changing season finale, but it’s making it’s season debut in the UK. Star Zachary Levi, seen here attending the 8th Telefilm Festival held at Cinema Apollo on May 8, 2010 in Milan, sat down with SFX to discuss the past season of Chuck and the devoted fans of the show. On fans rallying to bring Chuck back for another season: “I’ll tell you what, we’ve got some of the best fans in the world. I mean, our renewal the last two seasons just goes to show you.” The network ordering more episodes late in the season: “It certainly would have been better for the network to have ordered all 19 episodes at the same time. A whole season doesn’t all need to be one big arc. It’s tidier anti takes the audience on one clear journey.” The secret to new fight scenes: “Good choreography. We don’t have much time to train or anything, so we learn the choreography a day or two before we do the fights.” What it was like for Zachary Levi to direct an episode: “It was amazing. It really was amazing. I’ve wanted to direct for a long, long time. And it was an incredible experience. All the cast, all the crew were very supportive, they believed in me.” Is it still fun kissing Yvonne Strahovski?: “Ha ha ha! She’s certainly a gorgeous girl. Kissing a beautiful girl is always enjoyable. But when it’s your job there’s always a bit of a disconnect. But yeah, I still enjoy kissing Yvonne whenever we get to kiss.” Fans can now breathe a sigh of relief. Chuck is coming back for season four with an initial 13 episodes. Chuck will remain at 8pm on Mondays when it returns in the fall on NBC. |
